Description of tutoring experience

I did tutoring for a grade R child, it was a wonderful working environment and fantastic experience. I assisted with Maths, English and Life skills as well as providing general supervision. During lessons I also included a lot of motor skill activities, Sensory play, Science experiments, Art projects and fun educational games for learning and development. I also assisted at a day care and supervised indoor and outdoor activities, preparation of meals and snacks, story telling, learning programs and general daily routines.

Dear Family. Firstly I would like to say thank you for taking your time to look at my profile, Let me introduce myself. My name is Michelle, I am based in Edenvale area, and I am extremely excited to meet and work with my new family. I would be very happy to meet with you and answer any questions that you may have regarding my skills and experience. I am looking for a position within the Edenvale area or surrounding areas. I would like to say that its not necessarily the experience one has, but the qualities of that person. :) My goal is to make a positive impact on your family and your child's well-being. My good communication skills have also allowed me to create good relationships with parents and children, while creating a positive environment in a home. (Please take note that I will only start a position when a basic contract has been drawn up either by myself or the host family to ensure everything runs smoothly and to avoid any misunderstandings) Thankyou:)

Why I would make the perfect au pair

As a person I am very reliable, patient and honest, with a friendly and loving nature, as well as a good sense of humour. I love working with kids and helping them grow. I think its great to set goals to create a better future. I always say its important to be the best we can be :) Kindness goes a long way and that definitely describes my personality. When it comes to working with kids they all want to be understood and nurtured. I am always willing to help or assist where possible. I think to gain experience we should all be given the chance to grow and show our skills as I have quite a few :) I always go the extra mile.I enjoy doing lots of creative projects, play therapy, motor skill activities and fun educational games. (I can also assist/supervise with homework.) I have finished my tutoring course and I can work with kids who have learning difficulties. My aim is to create a good learning environment, and provide lots of organizational skills used for a successful tutoring session. I can assist with school projects, tests, studying, english reading and writing. Lastly basic mathematics, adding, subtraction and times tables. I can tutor ages 5-9 years (Foundation Phase) (If no tutoring is needed I am happy to provide general supervision for your little ones. I also enjoy working with the toddler age group. Hobbies and other interests

I enjoy nature, love animals, swimming, listening to music and watching my favourite tv series or movie. In my free time I also enjoy doing art work and craft projects, as I am a very creative person. I believe in helping children learn and reach their full potential by providing lots of love, support and attention where needed. Learning new skills and gaining knowledge is something I do enjoy. I think its very important to listen, understand and be patient when working with kids so they develop a good mind set, and at the same time wont feel insecure.
