Dear Family, I hope this message finds you well. I am very much interested in au pairing and will take this job very seriously, since I want something stable and long-term. I have experience in teaching and Au-pairing. In 2021 I worked as a Teacher’s Assistant at a pre-school close to Randpark Ridge, from 7:00am- 17:00pm (Mon-Fri). I’m currently unemployed. My previous jobs were as a Teachers Assistant throughout an entire school, but want I something more flexible. Experience, from 1 June 2021- 15 Dec 2021. I worked as an assistant throughout all age groups from 8months- 6years old. I had to help with potty training, outside activities, extra murals, art projects, stimulation (texture play and big motor skills), development with speech and fundamentals, feeding, putting to bed, etc. In 2022 I worked as a Teacher's Assistant at another pre-school after my 3 month period in the Netherlands as an au-pair. I did a short term au-pair job in the Netherlands. (3kids: Ages 6-12) I had to take/fetch the kids from school and take to extra murals after school. I had to assist with home work and tutoring in the afternoons. I helped with lighthouse-hold activities and buying groceries, as well as babysitting on some weekends. I also worked as a teacher's assistant at a homeschool for 3months, situated in Weltevreden park, had to leave due to long hours (6am-5pm).

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I have been surrounded by children/kids, my whole life. I have gained experience looking/taking care of, all ages. I am a responsible, independent, reliable and pro-active individual. I have a passion for teaching and enjoy working/ spending time with kids. They have taught me so much about myself and even in their own learning process, they have shown me how to see the world in a different and better way. I can always be myself around them and they will always see the good in everything, which also motivates me to do and be better. I have experience in teaching and au-pairing, I have flexible hours and I want a stable job, this is why I am certain that I am the perfect candidate for this job.

Hobbies and other interests

I am a very artistic and creative person. I enjoy drawing/ sketching or creative writing as a hobby. If I have extra free time, I like to go the gym during the week or join the classes they offer. I socialize and go out with family and friends on the weekends. I’m also very adventurous. I go camping, hiking and skating with my family and friends on holidays.
