Dear host family, First of all, I would like to thank you that you take the time to read my letter. With this letter, I would like to bring you closer to my life. I will try as best as possible to describe my wishes and dreams, my friends and family, and of course myself. I just got back from aupairing in the USA for the past 2 years so I have quite the experience to look after and help your children. My name is Roxzann P. I'm living with my parents, Rikileigh (40), step-father Riaan (34), and my brother Ruan (12). My house is located in an area full of nature. We've got three dogs (Dream 4years old), (Rusty 14years old) and (Rosie 12years old) we've also got a cat (Raskels 6months), a bird (Rocky 3years old), and a bunch of fish. Both my parents work as operations managers. Ruan is currently attending 6th grade of elementary school. Overall, we are a pretty large family, I've got 8 nephews and only 3 nieces. If I had to describe myself in just two words I would be a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I enjoy spending time with my friends, as well as my family – both are very important to me. My best friends' names are Jenna, Luze, and Zuraide. I am someone you can always rely on if needed help. In my free time, I like to listen to music, go shopping or watch movies. Furthermore, I enjoy being outdoors and singing – even though I cannot sing. I am currently shave a diploma in Teaching English as a foreign language and also a diploma in Early childhood education. I just recently got back from the USA where I was an Aupair for 2 years working with 2 boys one who has special needs. Once I have finished my au pair journey I would like to go study for my BA degree in Linguistics. I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. Besides the more traditional responsibilities of an Au Pair such as preparing meals, getting children off to school, and helping them learn important social and academic skills, I eagerly tackled far more complex and advanced tasks such as working with alternative communication devices, administering seizure medications, and coordinating with our child’s therapy and education team.

During this time Roxzann has proven herself to be an incredibly hard working, industrious, and trustworthy individual who is far more mature than her age. Supporting such a complicated child can be incredibly physically and emotionally draining, but Roxzann tackled this challenge with stamina, creativity, and deep affection for both children, way beyond what we could have ever hoped for.
