"Dear Family" message

Dear families, my name is Erin; I am 20 years old, born and raised in Cape Town. I am an energetic, patient and quiet individual (until you get to know me). I have an older sister and a younger brother and I feel as though this has given me a good grounding. I have a strong moral compass and value integrity, honesty and trust. Thus I am a very trustworthy person and always look at things from all angles. I am a very protective person and enjoy spending time with children and being able to make a difference. I think that it is important to encourage curiosity, extending our knowledge to the best of one's ability, embrace nature and trying to keep as healthy as possible. Although I am young and still have a lot to learn, I feel that I have a lot of knowledge and advice to share. I strive to be independent and to help people whenever I can. Children are so resilient and ambitious; being able to help them grow into the best possible version of themselves is a privilege. Leaving your child in someone else's care isn't easy and I'd like to be the person that could possibly make your life a little bit easier.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I am a very protective person and I feel as though I am at the perfect age where I'm old enough to be a disciplinary figure but young enough that I might be able to relate well to children and young teenagers. I strive to learn new things and be as healthy as possible and I think this may benefit your child/children.

Hobbies and other interests

I enjoy the simple things in life, I am not a major outgoing person; I prefer to stick to my small circle of close family and friends. I love to read and expand my knowledge (mostly with regards to science and nature). I have a passion for animals and helping others, I enjoy listening to music, going for walks, baking and sometimes experimenting with food especially with my specific diet. I grew up loving science and to this day I am an avid reader and love to learn new things, I hope that one day I will become a part of the healthcare community.
