Over the past 4 years, I have successfully assisted students in improving their performance in Accounting and Business Studies from grades 8-12, while simultaneously helping them boost their confidence, their perception of the importance of education, and various life skills to ensure they are not only prepared to walk the corridors of school, but the path of real life as well.

Introduction to families
I am Yekini M - a young woman with a lust for life, lifelong learning, and living the light I want to see in the world. For parents/guardians that require that I prepare meals: I am pescatarian (a “vegetarian” that eats fish). (p. s - in the 2022 academic year, I will be completing my degree on a part-time basis to focus on full-time employment)
As much as the youth is the future, they are also a reflection of their predecessors’ past - Yekini :). Children learn by example, therefore I devote myself to being an inspiration to your children to be upstanding, strong-willed and responsible members of society. I understand that all children are different, and that their differences should be met with patience, unconditional love and care in the manner they will best receive it.
I have a knack for design in many forms. Being: graphic design, writing, poetry, and the likes.

My duties and responsibilities revolved around assisting Ms Meyer with caring for her toddler who, at the time of employment, was 3 months old. I assist with: - meal preparation and feeding, - transportation to the local clinic for her mandatory vaccination shots, - playing with her and keeping her entertained, - changing her nappies as well as washing the nappies (pokkielokkie re-usable nappies) - keeping her room tidy after play, - keeping her occupied away from Ms Meyer, as Ms Meyer has been working from home due to Covid-19. I adopted a negotiation and distraction method when dealing with the toddler's demands. This strategy assisted in minimising tantrums, her wanting dangerous objects and getting hurt, and the likes.

I tutor accounting to Ms Roux's daughter. This involves: - teaching her work that may not understand in ways that are relatable, - assisting with test preparation, - making sure that she is fulfilled not only in academics, but her personal life as well.
