Additionally, I taught English and Mathematics to children aged 6 to 10 in India, and provided English instruction to students aged 12 to 16 in Sri Lanka. Introduction to families
Dear Family, My name is Kristin, and I am excited to express my sincere interest in becoming your Au Pair. As a South African citizen with a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle, I bring over five years of driving experience. I am an organized and creative individual with a passion for working with children and animals, and I am enthusiastic about contributing to your family's well-being. I have a strong background in caregiving, having worked with children of various ages, including tutoring mathematics and English. I am dedicated to providing compassionate care, ensuring comfort, safety, and support in daily activities. I am flexible, polite, punctual, and eager to immerse myself in your family’s daily life and culture, sharing my own experiences while learning from yours. My empathy, responsibility, and attention to detail, coupled with my ability to communicate effectively in English, make me a reliable and dedicated candidate for the Au Pair position. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to discussing how I can contribute positively to your household and build meaningful connections with your family. Best regards, Kristin
I am a dedicated individual who loves children and simply would love the opportunity to assist a family with their needs, as growing up I had au pairs and I remember how much I could accomplish simply because of having a caring and organized au pair. I am extremely responsible, polite, and punctual. I believe that children should have a positive role model in their life, and I would love to help shape their futures by being a source of happiness and structure where needed.
I have a diverse range of hobbies and interests that reflect my passion for both creativity and connection. I enjoy training and rescuing animals, which allows me to combine my love for animals with meaningful work. I am an avid reader, finding joy in exploring new ideas and expanding my knowledge. Spending quality time with family is important to me, as is learning and engaging in outdoor activities. I also have a keen interest in sports and arts and crafts, which keep me active and creatively fulfilled.

Worked during the school terms while assisting with the following activities: picking up the kids from school, preparing meals, helping with homework, and transporting to and from extramural activities. I did not work for them from June to August 2017 as I was away in USA working as a horse riding instructor at a summer camp for girls, but on my return back to SA I continued until the end of the year with them.

Looking after the children during the school terms. Made the children breakfast in the mornings, prepared lunch, and helped the kids get ready for the day. Drove the kids to and from school and extra murals. I kept the children entertained and stimulated by means of playing games, going on planned outings, arts and crafts, and walking the dogs close to the family's home.
