Description of tutoring experience

I use questions and examples to check understanding continually. I don't lecture to kids or ask them to memorise things. Nor do I do the homework for them as I want them to learn to do it themselves so I can see if they're understanding what they're doing. Wherever they get stuck that's where I come in to assist. This helps me see progress. As far as infants and toddlers are concerned regarding early childhood development I use these methods for their development and growth : 1. Gross motor skills, for example helping with crawling, jumping or running. 2. Fine motor skills, such as writing and drawing. 3. Speech and language. 4. Cognitive and intellectual, such as counting or identifying shapes. 5. Social and emotional skills, such as playing with other children, sharing with others etc. Educational games such as puzzles, numbers, alphabets, arts and crafts as well. I've also done some practical teaching in an autistic school. Kids aged 5-10 years old.

Hi there family! I'm so excited to be introducing myself to you. My name is Lana T and I was born and raised here in SA. I'm based in Honeydew to be precise. I live with my mother and my two young siblings aged 10 and 16. I have always wanted to be an aupair as I love children so much and that is what I wanted to pursue right after my school years.

I believe I will make a perfect aupair because I am able to deal with kids, cleaning and doing some household duties interchangeably. I also believe I always learn to play and discipline children in the way the parents are most comfortable.
