"Dear Family" message

Dear family, I am an energetic individual who grew up with two brothers and a sisters. We weren't allowed to watch television while the sun was out and only half an hour a day when we got to it. This ensured that we played outside all the time with our imaginations being our only limits. The hours in the days were seldom enough for the amounts of games we still had to play. I think that must be why I adore children - it gives me the opportunity to play the games we didn't get to before we grew up. Whenever the rowdy bunch, that's my family, gets together, we still play cards, cricket and anything else we can think of.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I believe in adventures in the everyday. You have a choice to either have fun or to suffer through activities, it's a matter of perception. Children are open to such fun, even in the mundane, and it gives me endless amounts of pleasure to help them have fun. It might be the most satisfying thing in the world when you and the children you entertained are equally exhausted and happy with the day that passed, yet neither of you wants it to end. Therefore, I believe I will be the best au pair.

Hobbies and other interests

A friend of mine makes the joke that my days are measured in kilometers, which sums up most of my hobbies. I love running and hiking, going for walks to look at houses and swimming. Almost any sport makes me happy; whether it's tennis, cricket, boxing, yoga or canoeing. I even attempt to surf. Further things I enjoy is art in the forms of painting, drawing and writing. I absolutely love reading - anything I can get my hands on - and I am currently studying which I find immensely interesting.
