Introduction to families
Dear Host Family It is with excitement that I am writing to give you a bit of background on the type of person I am. My name is Amogelang M, I am 24 years old and I grew up in Pretoria, currently residing in Bryanston. I am a mature, responsible, friendly, confident, independent and open-minded young lady. I have the ability to get along with people, I respect all individuals of different levels and backgrounds. My mom has taught me the power of life balance – I can therefore have fun with my friends and family, and still know when to be serious about my studies and work. I am goal orientated and like living a purposeful life, I have my future planned in my mind and work hard to reach my dreams and goals. I have a beautiful positive aura about me, always smiling and happy.
I would make a perfect au pair because I am a very hard worker, I am keen on being taught new things, I absolutely love children and normally have a great bond with them. I am committed and hard working as I completed my Diploma on record time. All my qualifications are attached to this letter. As part of my studies, I also did experiential training in events management, housekeeping and accommodation bookings. It has always been one of my desire to one day become an au pair, because of my love for kids. My love for kids comes naturally as I am having to spend most of my time with not only my siblings, I spend a lot of time with my 3 year old baby cousin whom I have to baby-sit quite often through the years. Au-paring will not feel like a job for me as I will be doing something that comes naturally because of my love for kids. I am hoping to hear from your positive response.
I love baking, reading, dancing and listening to music. I love exploring new places and meeting people I can learn different things from.

Between Infants and 8 year old girls and boys
I volunteered at an Orphanage in Cresta called Baby heaven for 3 years. I went there to help out with bathing the kids, feeding the kids, playing with them, reading books to them, preparing them for the day and later preparing them for bed. I also did their laundry from time to time to assist Sister Glenda, I changed nappies as well.

Girl, she is 4 now
I took care of Marang which is Vanessa's daughter since she was just a day old, I bath her, dress her, feed her, make her food, play with her, take her swimming, teach her numbers and letters, I take her for walks at the park, put her down for afternoon naps, and do her hair.
Yes
Amo is great with my daughter. What I like about her, is her ability to come to her level and still play with her, and teach her stuff. She's looked after Marang from birth, and never disappoints. When I'm working out of Gauteng, I'm not worried cause I know she will take good care of her. She's very warm, and easy to correct if she makes mistakes. I would recommend Amo anyday.

7 month old girl
I was Ms Kay's Au pair for 7 wonderful months. I was a live out au pair who came early in the morning when Ms Kay went to work, and left in the evening when Ms Kay knocked off. I would normally find Lulu (the daughter) still asleep in the morning and I would help Ms Kay tidy the house up, prepare food for Lulu, when she woke up I bathed her, prepared her for the day, fed her, played with her, read for her, changed her nappy, watched her favorite cartoons with her then she would fall asleep and I would put her down for an afternoon nap, prepared food for myself and Lulu again. I repeated the routine again while she was sleeping so that the house is tidy when Ms Kay came back home. I would sometimes prepare slight meals for Ms kay when she asked me too, or run errands for Ms Kay when needed. later in the late afternoons I would prepare Lulu for bed, I gave her a bath again, made sure she ate, and played so that she is a bit tired when Ms Kay knocked off. I had an amazing bond with bot
