I have recently started a program in tutoring Grade 2 - Grade 7 at the Soweto Canoe and Recreation Club learning center in Soweto Powerpark for 4 hours on Saturday. I am voluntarily helping kids who struggle with writting, reading, speeches and have low self esteem. There're 36 kids in this program and still growing.

Introduction to families
Dear Family, I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Nomthandazo (31) but you can call me "Nomthy", I live in Bryanston. I live with my fiance Nkosi Mzolo (34) who works as a Fireman & a Paramedic for the City of Joburg, we have 2 gorgeous kids together Snothando (8) and Amy (7), both living with us. Amy is currently in Grade 1 and Snothando in Grade 2. Overall, we are a small family. I would describe myself as a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my friends; they are – as well as my family – very important to me. Always trying to help, I’m always there for them if they need me. In my free time, I like to listen to music, sing and dance, go shopping, do picnics, read good books, bake and cook. Being a fan of canoe sport, I always go to second my fiance who is also into canoeing sport. Since I had my own kids I have grown so much love for the kids, kids are so innocent and always find a way to cheer a broken soul. In the past 2 years I was working in a pre-school in KwaZulu Natal (KZN) before I moved to Johannesburg. I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you. My name is not registered on Part B National Child Protection Register and I am registered with The Guardian. I have a First Aid and CPR certificatand I am Covid 19 vaccinated.
Besides having so much love for the kids and enjoy spending time with them, teaching them new (educational) things. I am punctual, responsible, lovable, initiative, adventurous and communicative. I am also very polite, confident and matured, I put a lot of hard work in everything I do, I'm always willing to lean new things on a daily basis.
Reading books Tutoring Sing and dance Cook and bake And I'm also interested in canoeing

Nomthy has provided outstanding services as an Au Pair to our twin boys from 1 February 2020 until today with an expected termination date of 31 December 2021 on a full time basis. Her services were terminated as the boys were old enough to go to Grade 000. She was almost always punctual and in the rare instances where she was late, she notified us timely even if she late only for a few minutes. Nomthy worked overtime almost daily as she did not keep track of time due to her being so focused on ensuring our children’s’ needs are being met. Nomthy was rarely absent from work whether due to sick leave, family responsibility leave or any other reason. Nomthy and our Domestic worker worked well together, even assisting each other with tasks outside of their respective job descriptions. Nomthy was flexible in her working arrangements by worked overtime and on weekends as required, which made our lives a lot easier. She enriched their development from the age of 1 to age 3 through reading, play, song, music, arts and crafts. Our kids were able to identify and read sight words. They also learnt basic addition from Nomthandazo. She taught them idioms and songs. She taught them some Zulu too. She has taught them impeccable manners. Nomthy, enquired about our traditions, rituals, religion and practices, which she out of her own accord incorporated in her teachings to the children. Our kids were born 2 months premature and were therefore a bit more of a handful than the average child. Nomthys’ nurturing ways and endless patience made her ideal for the task before her. She is able to multitask and look after numerous children. Nomthy, is really passionate about children. She does not need any supervision and takes it upon herself to create a stimulating lesson for kids. She drove our kids to swimming lessons twice weekly and cooked for the family as requested. We, including our children love her dearly and are sad to part ways. Our kids always ask when Nomthy will come back as they long for her company. We trust her with our children. We highly recommend her services as Au Pair or similar occupation.
