Description of tutoring experience

I have teaching/tutoring experience in all subjects. I did home schooling with a 8-9 year old where I did Grade 2 and 3 with her (CAPS - Math, Afrikaans, English and Life orientation). I also did home schooling with her brother of 12-13 years old. I did Grade 6-7 with him. (CAPS - Afrikaans, English, Social studies, Creative Art, Economics and Management Science, Natural science, Life Orientation and Technology). The math I did for the younger girl, however the mom had a math teacher live across from her so she just sent her son there everyday for an hour lesson.

She danced with the kids, created projects/ crafts or played outdoors with them. She listened to directions very well and I never had to explain something twice. She has often done more than what was asked, such as cleaning the kitchen. I was also impressed how well she was trained to ensure the children's safety. Melissa also established and maintained a good routine with the children, cooked for them, bathed them, and made sure their needs are met.
