Introduction to families
My name is Kimberleigh and I have six years of experience as an au pair. I am a calm and steady person who enjoys creating structure and making home life feel easier for both children and parents. I work well with children aged three to fourteen and connect with them in a gentle and patient way. I am reliable, organised and I communicate clearly. I can manage daily routines, school runs, homework support, basic meals, and keeping children’s spaces neat. I take initiative and I don’t need constant direction. Families I have worked with value me because I bring stability, consistency and a peaceful presence into their home. I care about creating a safe and respectful environment where children feel relaxed and supported. Thank you for considering me. I would love to see if we are a good match.
I am calm, dependable and emotionally grounded. I work well with routines and I help children feel safe and regulated. I reduce stress in the home and keep things running smoothly so parents can focus on what matters. I show up, I follow through and I care.
I enjoy cooking, baking, creative activities, spending quiet time at home, and being with my dogs and loved ones.

Kimberley B started working for our family in January 2023. We registered on the aupair website and received over 20 applications within 24 hours. Kim was the first candidate we interviewed and we all loved her, including our dog. We chose Kim for her loving and kind nature and the fact that she focused on getting to know our kids during the interview instead of trying to impress us as the parents, really left a good impression. Kim was really thrown into the deep end with looking after our 11 year old, with a very busy extra mural schedule, as well as looking after our 6 year old twins, which are extremely active and busy. We are an Afrikaans family, however we enrolled the twins in English classes for Grade R. Kim is studying part-time towards her English degree and she was perfect for the position. Kim’s accomplishments during the past 12 months include: • Creating an unbelievable bond with our children • Setting a loving and kind culture with my kinds and vice versa. • Kim did research after hours and came up with an idea of using Letterland to teach the twins phonics and reading • We were able to cancel their extra reading classes as they progressed further following Kim’s method and teachings. • Our children excelled in their exams and Kim played a tremendous role in achieving this. • If the school phoned, because a child is at sick bay then Kim was always willing to start sooner. • Kim also made their birthdays extra special • She managed our credit card well with errands and stationary purchases. She even ran some grocery errands for me. We are extremely sad to say farewell to our Kim, unfortunately we are immigrating sooner than we anticipated and we have to wish her well with another loving family. Anyone who employs Kim is getting a very precious gem.
