Introduction to families
Dear Family, My name is Mary and like Miss Poppins herself, I really like children. That is why I studied and have been working as a teacher for nearly 20 years now. I come from a big family and I think close bonds are important to have with children.
In this very busy, modern life you might not have enough time to do all that you want to and all that is needed with your children and I could be the person to bridge that gap, so that when you are with them you can enjoy real quality time. I have a lot of experience creating fun learning environments and learning through play. I have also taught a wide age range of children from early years to early high school so this is helpful for homework supervision.
I love arts and crafts, reading and animals. I especially like to pass on my passions to those I care for. I love painting and everything malleable and creative. I love making stories come alive for children and making reading accessible to those who find it difficult.

7 - 12 year old girl
Support teacher for special needs child. Initially I helped Avigail integrate into the school as she was the only special needs child in the mainstream school. I taught Avigail to read, basic numeracy and natural science. Later I helped Avigail to transition to her new school. After all these years we are very close and we still meet socially.

Good day, Mary is the most amazing woman! I can not recommend her highly enough. As a teacher Mary is patient, prepared, competent, flexible and entirely professional. There is no way to fault her. Mary goes beyond the limits of her job. She ensured that my daughter was well looked after, if there were any concerns she would be in touch immediately. She often helped out with collection and dropping of my daughter. The school she worked at with my daughter were loathed to loose Mary. Mary was invaluable to them too and was hired to be a locum at the school. Mary thinks on her feet, she covers teaching in many different grades. Mary goes above and beyond the call of duty. She considered Avigail like her own and took care of her in exceptional ways. I would highly, highly recommend Mary for any position she is applying for. Whoever has her as their teacher or au pair will be beyond satisfied and lucky to have her. Your sincerely Martine Margalit
