"Dear Family" message

Dear Family, my name is Emily and I am 23 years old. I currently work as a Grade R teacher at a private school in my area and I am also studying towards my Bachelors of Education degree through Unisa. On top of my Bachelor’s degree, I am also currently taking classes on Montessori education and I have already obtained my TEFL certification that enables me to tutor English as a second language. At the school that I currently teach, I previously ran the aftercare facilities (before covid) where I made lunch, assisted with homework or projects as well as planned activities for the learners. I previously worked at a company called ABC tutors, teaching English as a second language to Asian students from ages 2 to elder. I have volunteered at Joshua’s house for abandoned children as well as volunteered my services to Mulbarton Primary School when they were in need of a substitute educator.

I would make the perfect au pair, firstly because I already work with children every day as I am a teacher, I have a great passion for working with kids and as you can clearly see above, I have a lot of experience with children of all ages, not just in teaching, but also in caring for their needs. I enjoy watching documentaries, historical shows e. t. c I often go hiking with friends in the Kliprivier nature reserve and Rietvlei trails. I also enjoy bowling occasionally. I love to cook and garden too.
