"Dear Family" message

Dear Family My name is Sthabile Ashley C. I am a young woman from KwaZulu Natal. I live in the city of Durban, in a surbub called pinetown, and I want to become an Au Pair for your family. To introduce myself, I am writing to tell you about myself and my experiences with children. I live with my mother and 2 nieces Asiphe (9) Enhle (4). At this moment I know, I want to be an Au pair because I love children and want to live together with them and have a very good relationship to them. I describe myself as an open, friendly, cheerful, organized, loyal and faithful person. Also sense of responsibility is very important for me. I’m a helpful person, who laughs very often. I just completed my Degree in Social work (honours), I majored in psychology including neuropsychology, I plan to futher my studies when I have the funds to do so. My greatest interest is learning about children, and their mental functioning. My dream has always been to ensure the protection and well being of children. In my free time I play with children, I enjoy their company and their over imaginative minds, even the neighbours children come play with me, they think we best friends, my mother always makes fun of me that I have toddlers as best friends. I like to cook, bake and binge on series. My greatest experiences were gathered from my journey in life. My mother is a single mother who works shifts that includes night shifts, I learnt to be responsible from a young age. We never had a maid or nanny, my mother taught me everything I know. I had to change diapers, prepare meals and clean the house. Now that the girls are abit older I do their laundry, prepare them for school, assist with homework and cook meals for the family. I am part of the leaders in the children's church. My greatest experience was working at Child Welfare Durban and District for my practicles. Also worked for an NGO that offers services to children with special needs, I learnt a lot in the children's home for special needs. I we can learn much about the different cultures from each other.
