Introduction to families
Hello Family, Since January 2018 I have worked as a Classroom Facilitator for a 9 year old boy with Adhd, and as an Au pair for him and his twin sister. I am happy to announce he has progressed so much this year he no longer requires the in-school support and as such have made myself redundant and am looking for an new position. Last year I worked in Hartebeespoort as an au pair, caregiver and tutor. I have a back ground as a counsellor and house manager in clinical and non clinical settings. I have run programs within several private schools, worked with children with a variety of problems from language barriers to substance abuse and other co-occuring mental disorders. I love children, they inspire and entertain me. It is a beautiful thing to participate in their development and be of service to people around me. I am currently busy with a BA Social Work with UNISA and would very much like to work as an Au Pair/facilitator
I consider working with people to be a profession and a huge responsibility that one must treat with the required level of dedication and service. Little minds are precious and are to be treated as such. I have a significant amount of experience. I am energetic, bubbly, bouncy and cheerful. My personality is both playful and serious; I am pro-social; I don't drink and I love the experience of giving my best.

She can provide both a character reference and testify to my professionalism and passion for the work I do.

Natalie is a very enthusiastic person. She has an incredibly positive attitude, which is transferred to those in her care. The children in her care seem to be very happy and have a good relationship with her. I would not hesitate to recommend Natalie for any work involving children.

9 year old twins. 1 boy and 1 girl
I worked during the school day at Pecanwood College as a Classroom Facilitator with David who struggles with Adhd and needed support to cope in a mainstream school system. Then I would take care of him and his sister in the afternoons, doing homework, playing games, cycling with the kids or baking. The au pair work could be anything up to an additional 35 hours a month. .

During the time that Natalie worked for us we found her to be very dedicated and expremely passionate about the well being of our twins. Her dedication in the class room and patience with my son played a crucial part in his both is educational growth and personal confidence. So much so that after just a year he no longer requires a facilitator. In the afternoons Natalie was very eager to be active with the twins, often taking them on bike rides and baking with my daughter. Natalie has become a part of our family and she will continue to be a part of our lives.
