I’m looking for someone who will assist our 7-year-old daughter within the classroom setting. She is in Grade 1 at a girls school in Auckland Park, primarily with core subjects (Math and English). Our daughter has a minor speech delays and struggles with concentration. She requires patient, consistent support to stay on task with her classwork, understand classroom instructions and to develop confidence when interacting with peers and teachers. We are looking for a patient, caring but firm person who can provide this support during school hours. Ideal candidate: * Someone currently studying teaching, psychology, or early childhood development (ECD) - who would benefit from classroom experience * Must be reliable and able to commute to and from the school * Prior experience with young children or learning support is a plus * No criminal record Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 12:00 (may vary slightly depending on school time table) School holidays and public holidays off
