The candidate must really like to cook. She will be expected to make breakfast each morning for the family, as well as some suppers for the freezer. The candidate will plan and acquire the groceries for the meals. She will assist the housekeeper in keeping the kitchen tidy when the candidate is cooking. She will also keep the children's play areas and toys (indoors and outdoors) and the children's bedroom, including their wardrobes, both tidy and well organised at all times.

I am American/English and my husband is South African - we have two children - a girl (5) and boy (7). Both children are in school until lunch time. The candidate would get them ready for school in the mornings, as well as do some fun and stimulating activities with them. In the occasional instance of one of the children staying home from school for illness, or if the schools close again for covid, the candidate will care for the child during those mornings. My son has verbal dyspraxia - so he receives speech and occupational therapy. The candidate may be expected to assist him with any homework or other activities before school in the mornings. We also have three large, but super friendly German Shepherd dogs. They are a big part of our family. The candidate MUST love dogs and be completely comfortable around dogs. The candidate MUST have her own car, in good working condition. She must drive this to/from work every day, and use this (with mileage reimbursement) for grocery shopping and other daily errands.
