Half time au pair. Along with afternoon au pair, care for 4 children (6, 8, 10 & 12 - 3 girls and boy). Along with full time au pair, pick up kids from school in afternoon, drive to activities and help with homework. Play and prepare for next day. Help prepare and cook supper on most days. Excellent English a must with proficiency in Afrikaans a plus. Sports orientation a plus. Hours 12noon to 6pm, M-F. House in Sandton. Dogs in house. Car provided for transport of kids but need own car to/from work. Competitive salary plus bonus. CV and photo required on profile or send separately. These are brilliant, kind, funny, absolutely amazing kids full of lots of love and lots of hugs to hand out. But they can have their moments and need to grow to be more respectful people through learning. A mature, experienced au pair who has managed multiple-child households and who can help the kids learn better ways to resolve conflict would do well in this position. Someone with a background or training in teaching or psychology or coaching might do well in this position. If a kid shouting at you every now and then gets to you, or if siblings shouting or fighting with each other every now and gets to you, then this is not the position for you. Are you up the challenge of four amazing but headstrong kids?
